Hello all, We have been given some fairly generous gift certificates by friends to use at any Ritz Carlton property. We live in Philadelphia and since we have younger children and it is not easy to get away for more than a night or two at most, I am considering coming up to NYC for a night in early Feb. The difference in price between the Battery Park location and the Central Park location is fairly staggering. We like to do club level when we go to any Ritz property and at Battery Park it is $399/night whereas at Central Park it is $800/night. Any amazing and compelling reason to fork up the extra $400 out of our own pocket? I am sure the CP location is more desirable, but for our purposes, I am not sure we would need it. I don;t mind taking an expensive cab or two into Midtown because no way is that going to cost me an extra $400! We would just be coming for one night and all we really want to do is hang out, relax in the hotel and club lounge and maybe take in a show on Saturday night. Thank you I did not find the right solution from the internet References : www.tripadvisor.in/ShowTopic-g60763-i5-k1668914-Ritz_Carlton_Battery_Park_or_Central_Park-New_York_City_New_York.html3D Explainer
